Gami

Gami are confusing and sometimes frightening creature. They can live with any race unnoticed, learn whatever they need, and leave without caring. They are the most apathetic of all races, only caring for their own kind, which they can all somehow identify. To the best of any race's knowledge, Gami may not even exist outside of children's stories.

Appearance

No one knows what Gami look like in their true form except for other Gami. That wouldn't be so difficult to get from them if they could be convinced, but one would have to know someone was a Gami first. That is an extremely difficult task as Gami take whatever form they believe is most suitable for their task.

Occasionally, if they are trying to avoid being caught by a specific race's law, they will go into a sort of "stealth mode" in which they appear as a person's ideal vision of beauty. The side effect of this is when viewed in a mirror (and only a mirror, not just any reflective surface), they appear as whatever is most frightening to the viewer.

Reproduction

Gami are capable of reproducing in the same methods as whatever form they take, but never produce other Gami. According to Consati legends, Gami are created when a person who is truly apathetic to the world looks through a mirror, but it has to be someone who feels they have no purpose, no reason to live, and no one they care about; someone who is as apathetic to the world as the world is to them.

Knowledge

Gami share the common knowledge and technology of whatever race they are infiltrating. This is all they know other than their purpose for being in this particular society.

Cuisine

Gami can eat whatever the race they are imitating eat, though it is completely unnecessary, so most do not eat except out of habit or as a form of cover.

Relations

Gami are truly apathetic creatures, though they feign any relations their current form has.
